Provide effective industrial protection with our specialty aluminium handrails and steel railing systems.
Fully compliant with building regulations and H&S code, our handrail systems are manufactured from industrial-strength aluminium, with fixings comprising of T316 Stainless steel, designed to withstand extreme conditions.
Rapid installation times with most handrails built on site
Suits many applications, including guardrail isolation, industrial handrails, walkways, handrails for disabled access and stairs or full roof edge protection guard rails.
|Walkway mounted||These are mounted directly from the MonkeyToe Walkway supports for simple, fast and effective installation. Handrails can be retrofitted to existing MonkeyToe® Walkway. Stanchions are spaced at 1800mm centres with the top, mid and kick rail included as required.|
|Parapet or wall mounted||These can be base mounted or side mounted and come in a variety of different designs or configurations. This system is very fast to install and limited pre-site measuring is required. Transitions are simply achieved by universal ‘ball joint’ bends. The system is Tek screwed together to form a compliant handrail system.|
|Roof mounted||This can be fixed to the roof using either the MonkeyToe fixing method (recommended) or the Bulbtite rivet fixings. These can be used where wall mounted handrail is not an option or where a handrail is required from a ladder access point.|
|Roof edge protection||This system is becoming increasingly popular and economical. A full roof edge system removes the need for safety harness requirements and removes the requirement for continual ‘safety at height’ training. The full roof edge protection system allows for easy access to gutter cleaning as the system is normally mounted to the wall structure and sits outside the gutter line, then is angled back in to form a safe but ‘styled’ look to the roof line.|
Designed in accordance with NZS/AS 1657:1992. ‘Guidelines for the Prevention of Falls’. Where an employee is required to work closer than 2m to the edge of any roof or from where a fall is possible, fall protection or edge protection must be provided.
As a minimum standard on roofs from which a person may fall 3m or more:
