Frucor manufactures, markets and distributes a range of fruit juices, fruit drinks, energy drinks, waters and soft drinks, many of which are household names throughout New Zealand and Australia.
They continue to grow with the current construction of a new factory facility near their existing ones in Auckland’s Manukau City.
With Monkey Toe ladders specified on the tender, our team noticed there were galvanised handrails and stairs on the plans. The handrail had to sandwich to the panel and not just fix to the top skin of a suspended roof.
Working with the designing engineers, (Beca) we were able to refine the base plate and fixing details which provided cost savings. This system was bolted through the 100-150mm insulation panel with M16 mushroom fixings.
Monkey Toe was able to provide a range of solutions that included stair access, mezzanine floor access and roof access safety.
