Nestle Marton

Project Overview

Nutrition, Health and Wellness giant Nestle has quite a presence in New Zealand. Well known for the chocolate among other things, they have 6 sites across the country. Some of their brands include Uncle Toby’s, Purina and Nespresso.

One of Nestle’s key focuses is to ensure all Nestlé employees are covered by a certified safety and health management system. They aim towards zero work-related injuries.

Part of this was to ensure that roof access could be achieved with zero risk. “I feel a bit naughty going up there as it used to be out of bounds” the receptionist said. “Now that it has been made safe with Monkey Toe access, I still feel a bit like a naughty school girl.”

Access included a wall mounted parapet, walkways, stiles, duct supports and stairs.
