Located beneath four large oak trees, Tauranga Court faced a unique situation. The protected trees dropped copious amounts of leaves directly onto the building, wreaking havoc with gutters.

The court needed a gutter guard that could be walked on, was removable for cleaning, and wouldn’t allow even one leaf through into the gutter. Even a single large oak leaf could block a drain.

Monkeytoe tendered on the project drawings but recommended its own custom design. Working with our suppliers, we designed a system that was economical to build, practical to install and performed to the client’s expectations. The installation often had to be done after-hours so as not to interfere with court proceedings.
