Maintaining employee or worker safety in the workplace is one of the leading considerations for any organisation. The Base commissioned Monkeytoe to provide a walkway system that would facilitate access to rooftop plant and equipment. Engineered to 2.5kpa per square metre, the strong yet lightweight aluminium system is designed to transfer the walkway load to the roofing structure, never to the roofing membrane.

Our system has been developed with roof protection as the governing design factor. The raised height of 200mm helps keep foot traffic to the walkway path, and also helps to eliminate debris traps, aiding natural washing of the roof. All construction materials are corrosion-free and compatible with today’s modern roofing systems.
