Ladder Support Bracket

A ladder support bracket provides a secure attachment point for portable ladders, preventing movement in any direction – ensuring user safety.

Using a three-piece profiled plate construction, the slotted locking device allows on-site adjustment, providing both pitch and angle variation of the ladder support, ensuring maximum stability and safety of the user.

HOW IT IS USED

Positioned on the edge of the roof with a rung support protruding the gutter edge or fixed to the external face to allow supportive attachment.

HOW IT WORKS

The ladder rests on the ladder tie-off flange and not the gutter or fascia. The kattsafe ladder support bracket can be fixed to various surfaces and has a working load limited of 120kg.

Installation details

Support structure integrity, suitability, and fixing method to be assessed and determined by a competent person prior to installation.

Product warranty

10 years from the date of purchase, subject to correct installation, use, and maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and recommendations. Excludes powder coating.

Maintenance

As per AS/NZS 1891.4, the Monkeytoe PSD Davit Arm must be certified every 12 months by a qualified height safety equipment inspector. After 5 years of use, it is recommended that periodic inspections be carried out by the manufacturer of the equipment or an entity authorised by the manufacturer to carry out such inspections. All the exposed materials in the system have been specified as naturally corrosion-resistant or have been coated with sacrificial coatings to prevent oxidation of the base material. It is important to consider that the system may need to be cleaned to gain the best possible life expectancy from the materials in some environments.
