Monkeytoe design and manufacture aluminium auxiliary and standalone structures.
We have a suite of standard structures and configurable solutions as well as a design team focused on creating bespoke structures to suit your project requirements. All our solutions are designed to reduce ‘whole of life costs’ and protect the integrity of your asset.
Monkeytoe, with a staff size exceeding 123 individuals, operates across multiple locations in New Zealand and Australia.
As a company proudly owned in New Zealand, Monkeytoe traces its ownership roots back to 1990, with Monkeytoe being formed in 2006, boasting 18 years of dedicated service, Monkeytoe has established itself as a reliable and enduring entity.
Our company’s strength lies not only in its longevity but also in our diverse workforce, with employees hailing from various origins such as New Zealand, Australia, Brazil, Fiji, South Africa, the Philippines, USA & Europe. This diversity reflects Monkeytoe’s commitment to fostering a global and inclusive workplace environment.
OUR HISTORY
It all started with kiwi innovation
A restless 24-year-old, sick of working for others, brought a 4×4 Hilux and decided to ‘go it alone’. Tim Prestidge started a 9-month stint installing Stainless Steel pipe and conduits, at a local cheese factory. Not his original vision, but gave him the ‘leg up’ he needed and a focus towards servicing the industrial sector in Taranaki.
