Who We Are.
Monkeytoe is New Zealand and Australia’s leading whole-height solution provider.
We built our name on providing aluminium-compliant building appendages and standalone structures (stairways, ladders, accessways, platforms, screening systems).
In 2025, we joined forces with Alta Safety, New Zealand’s leading height safety
company, allowing us to design, install and certify fall arrest systems.
We custom design structures for clients to reduce whole of life costs. Our mantra is
our systems will not damage the integrity of your asset.

Our process is simple.
Concept Design
We provide a consultation – either online, at your office, or ours. Here, we can discuss any upcoming project where you may want a custom design to address any challenges or a better solution.
Detailed Design
We develop the design concept and supply a cost estimate for approval. This starts the design and documentation process.
Sign Off
When the design is finalized, we provide a fixed cost for manufacture and installation – or, if you’re prepared to proceed from the proposal, we will cover any small changes as a variation. All designs include full engineering documentation!
Manufacture
Your project is then manufactured in one of our high-performing factories. Using the latest in technology and Machinery.
Installation
Installation of your custom solution then takes place, with our skilled team operating across New Zealand, Australia and further afield. You can ensure your project will be completed to a quality standard.
Annual Certification
Monkeytoe will carry out a full comprehensive inspection of fall protection and abseil safety systems and carry out any maintenance and servicing prior to re-certification as appropriate to meet AS/NZS standards, and best practice guidelines.
