Rostek Unit Cradles (1-4 People)

Suspended, Hands-Free Facade Access

Rostek Unit Cradles work with Rostek Monorail Access Systems and Roof Trolley Systems, or can be suspended from davits or gantries.

HOW IT IS USED

Unit cradles range from one-person units to four-metre platforms. Constructed with lightweight, high-grade aluminium profiles, galvanised steel frames, and stainless steel fasteners, they're a cost-effective facade access solution—especially with limited rooftop space.

HOW IT WORKS

The BMU1 Cradle is a single-person unit designed for smaller, hard-to-reach facade areas.

The BMU2 Cradle is a two-person Building Maintenance Unit with two traction hoists and wire winders at both ends.

The Modular Suspended Platform (MSP) is a lightweight, self-propelled platform that assembles to lengths between 5ft and 40ft. End modules contain the hoist, wire winder, cable bin, and control box, while middle modules provide additional working platform space for multiple operators.

Maintenance

Rostek Unit cradles must be certified every 12 months by an Accredited Rostek Certification technician. All of the exposed materials in the system have been specified as naturally corrosion-resistant, or have been coated with sacrificial coatings to prevent oxidization of the base material. It is important to consider that in some environments the system may need to be cleaned to gain the best possible life expectancy from the materials.
