DESIGNED TO MEET REQUIREMENTS
Monkeytoe's standard Aluminum barrier system is designed to meet the requirements outlined in the NZTA Bridge Manual, specifically complying with section B6.4.

The barrier measures 1.2 meters in height, with an overall height including additional features reaching 1.4 meters.

BALUSTRADE
The balustrade panels are manufactured in accordance with the F4 balustrading code, incorporating vertical uprights to create a non-climbable barrier, enhancing safety by preventing unauthorized access or climbing. This design ensures that the barrier meets the stringent safety standards required for public infrastructure, particularly in bridge construction.
DESIGN LOADS
The design considers non-concurrent live load cases, including a horizontal load of 1.75 kN/m on the top rail and a vertical load of 1.75 kN/m, or the infill to withstand a distributed load of 1.5 kPa, or a point load of 0.5 kN, or the handrail must accommodate a 0.5 kN load. These specifications ensure the barrier system meets structural requirements for safety and durability under varying conditions.
