With the implementation of new H&S Workplace 2015 law, companies are now taking safe access to their machinery and assets very seriously.
Meridian Energy is a company that takes the care of their staff and contractors seriously, so they approached Monkeytoe for a solution to provide safe access to their six 16kV Circuit Breakers.

This was an area that had previously been accessed on a regular basis using temporary scaffolds.
Meridian recognised that this was a costly exercise and had the potential for damage to this critical equipment, so engaged Monkeytoe to provide full design, supply and installation.

Monkeytoe jumped at the challenge and provided a full ‘end to end’ solution, carried out this project within the Stations planned shutdowns and accordance with their strict H&S and Asset protection requirements.
To ‘cap off’ a successful installation, the CEO of Meridian Energy acknowledged the new facility, as impressed with the quality of work that had been carried out.
